Get to Know Dr. Jamielynn (Jamie) Jung
For Dr. Jung, nothing is more satisfying than helping people improve their oral health, alleviate pain, and maintain healthy and beautiful smiles while fostering meaningful relationships with them. She uses these bonds to personalize her approach for every patient so that their dental journey is just as enjoyable as the end result.
Where Did You
Study Dentistry?
After graduating from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Dr. Jung earned her dental degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She then completed her General Practice Residency at Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx, during which she gained valuable experience in pediatrics, surgical extractions, periodontal surgery, head and neck laceration repair, orthodontics, and molar endodontics.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Jung is actually a record-setting short-track speedskater who has competed in (and won) several high-level races. Her new goal is to represent the USA and obtain a medal at the Masters International ST Competition. When she isn’t in the office or on the track, you’ll usually find Dr. Jung spending time with her mom or playing with her puppy, Shiru.
